Since being introduced to modern society, cars and other similar vehicles have the needs to be taken care of, including cleaning, waxing and so on. Our corporate partner is WashTec, which has a great interest in this topic since they are the leading manufacturer of the car washing machinery in the world. Since the world is rapidly evolving, WashTec needed someone to look into the possibilities of the future. They gave us the task to find out “what does care for individual transportation look like in the future”.

RoMo is a mobile care solution for your car. RoMo consists of two main components, a mobile application named WashApp and an autonomous car washing machine WashBot. RoMo service delivers the user a carefree solution for their car washing needs. WashApp allows you to connect to the washing service with your mobile device. WashApp will also give pricing and location information about car wash services so the user can easily and efficiently get her car cleaned. WashBot can be located in every major parking lot, where end users can order the service through WashApp. All end users have to do is to order the wash through WashApp, park in the parking lot and go about their business, and WashBot will then autonomously take care of the washing operation for the parked car.

As WashBot is also mobile machine, it can take the cleaning operation to wherever the car is parked. This way RoMo ensures you that the end users gets their vehicles taken care of in a convenient way as they do not have to worry about dedicating their time to do the cleaning themselves.
